إفتراضي ‘Abd al-Ḥayy Ḥilmī-Fel-bo‘d-e yāmā (Zonophone) / عبد الحي حلمي-في البعد ياما

My turn to apologize for a long time off. This is the coming back present : the Zonophone version of the classic dōr sīkāh-huzām / Fel-bo‘d-e yāmā, sung by ‘Abd al-Ḥayy Ḥilmī on 4 sides for Zonophone. We already have the Odeon rendition on the forum to compare.
unfortunately, this recording of the Anani collection was not made from the original 78rpm, which he had lost, but from a transfer he had himself done on reel. The sound is mediocre at best, and I suggest to avoid the use of headphones for this recording, some frequencies are hard on the ear and will be much better tolerated on a regular sound system.
This rendition is amazingly "non-ḥilmiesque", in the sense that ‘Abd a-Ḥayy effendī decided for once (but it is not the only example of this) to "do the job" seriously and avoid simply relying on the beauty of his voice and his whimsical character. He expressed in this recording everything that was composed by Muḥammad ‘Uthmān and then adds his own touch to it.
This is, with Manyalāwī's benchmark performance, an exceptional rendition of this piece.

I would love to hear a clean transfer of this masterpiece. Unfortunately, it is missing from the AMAR collection.
