there's some audio distortions here and there owing to the record's ware, but otherwise very good for a 113 year old record.

I apologise for my long absence that has lasted two months. I have so much to catch up and will begin with this thread. 'amina's voice is one of the least , known to m, and, as a general rule, I am not much interested in 'awalim taqatiq. I must admit, though, that one still finds here and there something interesting about them. However frivolous they are and however basic the melody and the vocal skills put in the interpretation, there is always something that pertains to the era and to the learned musical art. In this instance, my attention was particularly caught by the way she sings, and including the ladies of the choral sing, biy'ayyat in several places.
This said, I think the recordings are too fast and I had to slow them down by one degree to have a sound closer to the "natural" one. There is a difference of almost 30 seconds between the duration of the two sides. I don't know how frequent this is in 78 rpm records. However I thought that both sides needed to be slowed down. I am attaching the modified copies.
